Zindagi jab bhee teri bazm mein laati hai hamein

Muhabbat Na Samjh hoti hai Samjhaana zaroori hai
love is novice its counsel is necessitated
what is in the heart should certainly be told by the eyes
when principles are under threat then a combat is necessitated
when alive, then its imperative to look alive
who can advise the self-willed of the new generation
that where evasion is required and where it is necessary to go
very defiant eyes cannot hold intimacy for long
to withhold the tenderness of love, its necessary to be shy
probably there is no way to feel it
if it says it is the god then it should reveal itself
put your thirst on my lips and then think
that after this is there anything else to be achieved
Muhabbat na-samajh hoti hai , samjhaana zaroori hai
jo dil mein hai usse aankhon se kehlaana zaroori hai
usoolon pe jahan aanch aaye to takraana zaroori hai
jo zinda ho to phir zindaa nazar aana zaroori hai
nai umr ke khud-mukhaatrion ko kaun samjhaaye
kahaan se bach ke chalnaa hai kahaan jaana zaroori hai
bahut bebaak aankhon mein taaluk tik nahin paata
muhabbat mein kashish rakhne ko sharmaana zaroori hai
saleeka he nahin shaayad usse mahsoos karne ka
jo kehta hai khuda hai tou nazar aana zaroori hai
mere hoothon pe apni pyaas rakh do aur phir socho
ki iske baad bhi duniya mein phir kuch paana zaroori hai
Waseem Barelavi
Adding my own Matlaa to this ghazal
to be alive its important for the wounds to be healed
if relations are strained still its imperative to maintain
zindaa rahne ke liye ghaoon ka bhar jaana zaroori hai
riston mein daraarin hon tou bhee nibhaana zaroori hai

iss raaz ko kya jaane saahil ke tamashaai..
iss raaz ko kya jaane saahil ke tamashaai
hum doob ke samjhe hain dariya teri gahraai
the spectators of the shore does'nt know this secret
i drowned myself to know how deep you are , O river
chalte hue baadal ke saaye ke taakub mein
ye tishnalabi mujh ko sahraaon me le aayi
chasing the shadow of the flying cloud
this thirst of mine got me in the desert
ye jabr bhee dekha hai taarikh ki nazron nein
lamhon ne khataa kee thee sadiyon ne saza paayi
this tyranny has also been seen by the eyes of past
for mistake made by moments centuries have been punished
[सानेहा = accident/calamity ]
kya saaneha yaad aaya 'Razmi' kee tabaahi ka
kyun aap ke naazuk si aankh mein nami aayi
what accident you remember of 'Razmi's' misery
why your delicate eyes got moistened
Adding my own ashaar to this ghazal
[ दस्तूर = custom, अहल -ए-कामयाबी = world of success, फ़राज़ = heights , निहां = concealed / hidden , तबाही = destruction]
ajeeb dastoor hai ahal-e-kaamyabi ka
kisi ke faraaz mein nihaan hai kisi ki tabaahi
strange rule are there in the world of success
in someone's rise is hidden sombody's destruction

Kuch Tou Majbooriyan Rahi Hongi...
there must be some compulsion
otherwise no is unfaithful just like that
there is daily conversation between us
but for long time we don't see each other
heart desires to speak the truth
but what do I cant muster the courage
who shall wait for the night
nowadays what doesn't happen in the day
kuch tou majbooriyan rahi hongi
yun hee koi bewafa nahin hota
guftagoo unse roz hoti hai
mudatoon saamna nahin hota
jee bahut chahta hai sach bole
kya karein hosla nahin hota
raat ka intezaar kaun kare
aaj kal din mein kya nahin hota
Bashir Badr
Adding my ashaar to this ghazal
wahaan jaane ke sau tareeke
aane ka koi raasta nahin hota
hundreds of ways to go there
but not a single way back

Adding my own sher to this Ghazal ( its not fitting the Bahar though)
sargoshi hai bazm-e-ishq me, sabab tere -ikhtilaaf ka
tere dahan kahe tuman tuman, tera nayan kahe haman haman
Putting a rough translation to this Ghazal
from head to toe you are a tale and such strange is this congregation's situation
that every tongue is talking of these delicate eyes and every talk is about the arrogant silence
she is an aspect of complete beauty, she is total kiss and embrace,
she is the face to look at, she is the mouth to kiss on
the magicking by the eyes and versifying by the silence
your eyes are Samri's magic , your lips are tale of Nal and Damayanti
with perfection, the emotions of the heart on fire, alters the movement of the celestial
on morning its a face of garden and on evening its locks of hair
that smile of the tender heart, that spring on the face of the beauty
that half blossomed flower, that freshness of the garden
someone should have seen , with my eyes, the expanse of your party
every corner of which was an infinite space, every moment of which was eternity
for you the destination too is pathway and for me the roads are also the destination,
the difference is that its your way to travel and this is my way of walking.
the light from the warmth of those lips, the light from the smile,
that coquettish way of yours, that glance of yours like rubies.
sadden and extinguished; is Firaak's life worthy of living,
but then the sown field of today's poetry is only due to him .
'Firaaq' Gorakhpuri
Whispers, about the reason of our differences, are going around the gathering of love
and your mouth says its me but your eyes says its you

Putting a quick translation of this Ghazal below:
that's no light that's not self illuminating
that's no beauty that's not eyes evading
desire of heart is weighing heavy on the heart
my problem tells me that there is no problem
such are the sights in front of my eyes
bewildered, I am, but she say don't be surprised
