ऐ वादा शिकन ख़्वाब दिखना ही नही था,
क्यूँ प्यार किया था जो निभाना ही नही था

इस तरह मेरे हाथ से दामन ना छुड़ाओ,
दिल तोड़ के जाना था तो,आना ही नही था

अल्लाह ना मिलने के बहाने थे हज़ारों,
मिलने के लिए कोई बहाना ही नही था

देखो मेरे सर फोड़ के मरने की अदा भी,
वरना मुझे दीवाना बनाना ही नही था

रोने के लिए सिर्फ़ मुहब्बत ही नही थी,
गम और भी थे दिल का फसाना ही नही था

या हम से ही कहते ना बनी दिल की कहानी,
या गोश बरावाज़ ज़माना ही नही था

क़ैसर कोई आया था मेरी बखयागरी को,
देखा तो गरेबां का ठिकाना ही नही था
