I have
tried at the literal translation of this Ghazal
the
world is reversing, the stars are spinning faster, O saaqi !
heart
in every speck hears the sound of surrender, O saaqi !
the
bounty of piety and intellect have been stolen from the believers
whose
blood drenched amorous glance has caused this apostate act O saaqi !
pain
of desire does not arise in the heart of mosque
the origin
of it is still shrouded under the veil , O saaqi
There
was no other Rumi from the gardens of Azam,
Though
the water and skies of Iran is the same, and it’s the same Tabriz , O saaqi !
do not
have any expectations, O Iqbaal, from your desolate land
but if
little moisten its soil can be really very fertile , O saaqi !
To the
travelers on the path of poverty is bestowed the secrets of King
On me
is raining this wealth of fortune, O saaqi
------
O Muztarib, the bomb of blind faith is emiting poisonous air
the sword of Changez (Khan) is again blood thirsty, O Saaqi !

I am putting below an interpretation of this by
Prof Shahid Alam
The world changes utterly: the stars spin faster, O Saqi.
In every heart I hear the cry of surrender, O Saqi.
God’s journeymen have lost their arts, their certainty.
Whose artifice deceives them, who has this power, O Saqi.
Weak-willed, weak-hearted, dimly they mope about.
Deep is their need for that life-enhancing elixir, O Saqi.
The Muslim lacks the fire that can ignite his heart.
Why is the birth of spirit so hard to deliver, O Saqi.
There rises none like Rumi from the gardens of ‘Ajam.
Persia is the same, unchanged her sky and water, O Saqi.
Iqbal will not walk away from his fields laid waste.
A little dew and sweat will revive its power, O Saqi.
This dervish is privy to the rites, the rigors of power.
His words are rare, he ignites visions of splendor, O Saqi.
